TO FLORIDA STATE CRIMINAL RECORDS
To
find out if an
individual has a criminal record in the
state
of Florida we check the state repository, the relevant
county criminal court records, and civil
court records.

Availability
by County
Sixty-four(64) out of
sixty-seven(67) Florida counties plus the state
repository make criminal record information available by
phone, mail or fax. If
the county, or counties, specified can only mail records
back to us then there will be an unavoidable delay in
processing the record request.
The Circuit Courts hold felony records and
civil case filings for amounts of over $15,000. The
County Courts hold misdemeanor records and civil case
filings for amounts of over $15,000. The County Courts
hold misdemeanor records and civil case filings for
amounts of less than $15,000. Unless otherwise noted,
the two courts are located within the same courthouse.
The Florida State Repository limits access to Felony
and Misdemeanor convictions ONLY. |

| State
records contain information submitted to the State
of Florida from each county and other criminal
justice agencies. Records are updated monthly. |
|
| Records
are available for convictions dating from 1950 to
today. Prior to 1950, searches can be
conducted by Federal or County records. |
|
| Cost is
$30 per individual searched statewide and $20
for a county criminal. |
|
| Delivery
Time: Turnaround time is approximately 3-5 business
days. Results are e-mailed to you, or faxed on
request. We cannot guarantee turnaround time as we
are dependent on the state getting back to us in a
timely fashion.
If

records back to us then there will be an

you should know before you order a State
Criminal Search in order to gauge the severity
of a criminal record, if one is found: |

- Felonies
are crimes that are usually punishable by at least one
year or more of jail time.
- Misdemeanors
are less severe charges punishable by a fine or jail
time of less than one year.
