Nearly
half of the criminal records in the US are housed in the US

for actions in violation of Federal Laws. There
are 241 US District Courts, with each state
housing one to four federal district courts.
Mail fraud, arson, interstate drug
trafficking and the like are the types of cases
stored in the Federal courthouses. Drug crime alone
accounted for 26% of filings in 1999, followed
by fraud cases at 16%. >>Order
State
Criminal Records
Price: $18.00 to $50.00

sometimes some states can take up to 30 days to process.
Arrest Records/State
Repositories – More than 30 states have repositories of
criminal convictions and/or records of arrest from state,
county and municipal agencies. State
repositories include abbreviated conviction and
/ or arrest information that is gathered from state and
county agencies. The benefits of
this statewide search are; convenience, coverage and cost,
because it is not necessary to search every county in which
an individual may have lived or worked or been associated. The
disadvantage is that not all crimes are reported by the
counties to the state repository. The search is based on name, date of
birth and social security number to make sure that the
information provided relates to the person in whom you
have interest. In the case
of false identities and unknown aliases, only fingerprints
can conclusively link criminal to the person in question.
Some states require a
state-specific release form.
Not all arresting agencies submit their
fingerprints to the state repository even though it may be
required by law. It
varies by state, but some arrests are not recorded in the state
repository because of non-classifiable finger prints, or
because crimes such as shoplifting, minor assault and
other charges may not require that fingerprints be taken.
Please Note: If no record is returned from the state
repository of the state you are searching and you wish to
pursue the case further then we will have to make a
separate search of the county records at additional cost.

County
Criminal Records
Price: $15.00 to $27.00
Return: Twelve to seventy-two hours depending upon the county. 95% are completed in less than 3 days.
There
are more than 3,300 counties in the United
States, and there are
literally billions of
records available at the municipal and county district level. These
records represent cases brought
against a corporation or individual for
actions considered as acts against society.
Cases are classified as felonies (severe crimes
i.e. murder) and misdemeanors (moderate crimes i.e.
theft), and they are not reported at the federal level.
Access to these records is relatively easy; releases are
not generally required; searches are based on name, and when
possible date of birth and SS#; turnaround
times are fast (90% are back in 48 hours or
less). Records usually go back 7 years. If you need to go back
further then call us. These records may be archived and it
may take longer and be more costly to process your
request. There is a long list of crimes that are
recorded at the county level. For a more complete list of these
offenses and other information, click HERE.
